Derrick Nelson joined Warren & Tallent CPAs PLLC in February of 2004 as Director of Client Accounting in the Sweetwater location. Derrick manages and is responsible for write up work, audit assistance, tax preparation assistance and leader of client accounting. Derrick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Tennessee.

Derrick Nelson is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, member of the Meigs-Decatur Chamber of Commerce, Associate Member of the Tennessee Society of Public Accountants (TSCPA), Officer in Meigs County Masonic Lodge, Volunteer in the Youth Sports in McMinn County, and assistant Treasurer of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
